Is there a better way to get to Clayton from I-74 than highway 39 from Lizton? That's the way I usually go but it involves some pretty narrow two lane sections and a couple turns that could turn ugly if you're not paying attention

During the day I’d go against my own advice from the other day and go to 465 and come back to Clayton on 70. Nights or early mornings I’d run 39.

My roommate drives around my 3/4 ton 4wd truck all the time, that I'm pretty sure gets single digits for gas mileage in town

then he complains that it takes so much money to fill up...

This was a peculiar sight. Air bags are fully inflated for no obvious reason. Called breakdown just to make sure if it was something that needed to be addressed. Matthew said it should be fine if nothing else seems wrong. I just find it weird that the bags are fully inflated on an empty trailer.

It's also 2 months overdue for service but not a whole lot I can do about that right now

I'll be swinging by some place in Anderson to pick up a load going to HD in Topeka

    Leveling valve is probably stuck.

That Anderson warehouse is sweet. Brand new facility, nice folks, restroom access, and I was loaded in fifteen minutes. Do NOT try the northern route to avoid Indy. Construction and detours everywhere. Just go back to 465.

Or just out of adjustment. That high, it might trigger the height sensor at a scale.

I’d be concerned about running it with the bags stretched out like that. They’re not going to have any uptravel after your trailer bounces downward on a bump.

I drive a 2005 F360, and get between 12-15mpg. I went from Flint to nearly GR, pulling a dump trailer full of wood on the way back, on 15gal. So even the bigger trucks aren't THAT bad.
