Hanging at the ACT truck stop in Hagerstown, Md., back when I ran the east coast a lot this was one of my favorite stops.
I will deliver in Baltimore in the morning and then bounce up to the port in Wilmington, De. and pick up load going to Sleepy eye, Mn. for Monday.Friend, rollin coal, MidWest_MacDaddy and 5 others Thank this. -
I hate coming to ports to load, got here @0930 waited until 1400 to get loaded after the union boys took a 1.5 hour lunch break. Now come to the port office and wait another 2 hours and counting for paperwork.

Note to the general public. When you call breakdown and let them know you have caged brakes on a trailer you're picking up. And they have no record of it being in the shop or being serviced since its last dated visit. There's questions raised about those that have been pulling it around.
Was having a good day. Now we waitFriend, 48Packard, motocross25 and 4 others Thank this. -

So dropped Liepsic OH this morning. They were supposed to be open yesterday but someone forgot to tell their Guard Shack to open up for my arrival.
So I drop this morning (bit if a headache) and rolled down to BB in Richmond IN for a simple DnH.
Arrive to a few trucks parked in the parking lot, but my preloaded… right? Nope, your trailer isn’t preloaded so we will live load you in line… ugh, ok.
Three Hours later they call me to come around and check in with Shipping Office. My “preload” has been picked and waiting to be loaded in my preload trailer… but still MT on the dock.
So, drop my MT to hook my MT preloaded trailer… and wait for Live Load.
Not a huge deal just a first for me I guess. Good start to 2026.
At least I’m not waiting at a Port on the East Coast to pickup papers for a few hours.Friend, 48Packard, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Werner truck passed me doing 72. Didn't know they raised the speed on their trucks
rokue, Friend and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.
