Maybe it’s the mile and a half in indiannia is 30 minutes AFTER sunrise and Ohio is 30 minutes before ?

    I will ask .

he used to haul a 10.5 wide once or twice a week from alabama to Lima Ohio

Indiana and Ohio both define daylight hours as 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.

Kentucky would have county curfews on the south side of Cincinnati but you can run at night in KY so just get to the Ohio line at 1/2 hour before sunrise. Metro curfews in Ohio only apply over 12' wide.

Not sure why you would even go into Indiana with that route. Just run around the east side of Cincinnati.

14-6” wide if I recall is the magic number for Monday through Friday.

A lot of people whine about Ohio and it’s ######## — some warranted — a lot of those guys don’t know Indiana is 55mph over 10-6” wide.

I always try to do the right thing and much like everyone else is mentioning, I run a foul of the occasional regulation or terrible situation.

Sometimes when you are doing everything right.

But I'm going to tell you a story....
About being 200k picked up in the middle of the bloody road 352 all of its there.

I checked height restrictions I had a permit we had verbal permission from the municipality.

Still did not keep me from taking down a wire at 14'10" and now lawyers are involved.
The line was clearly below regulation but in the meantime while we are fighting that.

I got a ticket for failure to control speed and avoid a collision. Which of course the lawyer is also working on.

But the point is had I not had my I's crossed and my T'S dotted.

I would have been looking at a quick 50 grand and the chewing out of the lifetime I'm sure....

Instead of a casual conversation where the state boys went everything looks good and of course the local had to come up with some infraction....

The point is it's not what you can get away with it's what happens if you don't.

And it just takes one little accident.

What they left out of that story is that the Arkansas permit department was closed for the entirety of last week. It snowed the previous Saturday, and was cold on Monday and Tuesday. Evidently the fact that it was up into the 40s the rest of the week had no impact on them being closed for seven days. We made it to Texarkana and had to turn around and reroute through Oklahoma.

That's a neat coincidence. The most I've ran over is around 16k.
