I use a multitude of navigation tools..my garmin, copilot, and google satellite view to get a view of my customers so I have an idea beforehand what the set up is at their facility and what the streets are like
hotrod1653, JOHNQPUBLIC, Cherokee65 and 7 others Thank this. -

We do the same. We were given a Garmin Dezl, the $800 one. It didn’t cost us anything. Another driver said he had 2 and gave us one. As soon as we can get it stuck to the glass we’re going to use it too.Friend, Woobie, Albertaflatbed and 3 others Thank this.

I have a Garmin Dezl, the 7" one. It works great for me, I still use google maps to look at the receiver so I know what way looks best to approaceh from and what the area looks like so i know of anything that might cause a semi grief.
Friend, mitrucker, Cherokee65 and 3 others Thank this. -
Satellite view is a Godsend.Friend, JOHNQPUBLIC, Cherokee65 and 5 others Thank this.

Not just satellite view, but street view where you can read the signs for a truck entrance or for shipping/receiving makes navigation much simpler toohotrod1653, Friend, 201773 and 7 others Thank this.

I’ve actually done that with Google Earth. Sometimes it doesn’t work due to poor service.Friend, navypoppop and Albertaflatbed Thank this.
