I would get quite literally any other brand btw. Carriers are by far the single worst APU on the market reliability wise. Never met a single person who hasnt had massive issues with them basically right out of the box.

Look into a green APU for fueled. Had one for years only issues i ever had in almost 10k hours were a waterpump, a belt and a temp sensor. Or an Electric APU (brand name is actilly electric APU) or polarfox for EPU. Just get the solar pannels. They are a must have.

Since fuel and truck isn’t object, then your question is irrelevant. You got bank….. deal with it. ;)

Are you starting your own authority, or leasing on, if so where, what kind of freight - trailer etc?

I have a used thermoking tripak evolution on my current truck that it came with. Had constant issues with the system. Did some work myself, alternator, fuel pump, preventative maintenance, things like that. Thermoking is an expensive and sometimes incompetent company to deal with. I got tired of dumping money into the POS.

Last year I bought a predator 5000 ultra quiet and a 14000btu dual hose AC and it has been great. The fuel capacity allows about 11-12 hours of running the AC or a space heater. The two biggest downsides are keeping it fueled and having to conserve truck batteries on a reset due to having a fridge on the truck.

I’m sick of dealing with gas

had good luck with my 7500 figured I’d try the apu to match, closest green dealer is like 200 miles away, and similar price to a TK about 16k, carrier I got quoted at 11k

One gallon of diesel fuel weighs 7 pounds. Idling is a killer of the modern diesel engine

How to find such a beast? Don't see a link at drive4walmart.com

Next time I deliver at one of their DCs I'll try to find someone to talk to.
