Next dispatch takes us from just north of LA back up to Washington State.

If you thought that last trip had beautiful scenery, wait until you have the opportunity to come across 90 over Snoqualmie, then thru the panhandle of ID into western MT.

That sounds like an awesome trip! I’m hoping that’s our next run out of WA.

I-5 from Porterville, Ca to Ontario, Ca today. 4 hrs waiting to get loaded at shipper was pathetic. We didn’t get very many miles in today. Tomorrow we run up to our next fuel stop in Winnemucca, NV and then on up to Washington State to deliver. 2 days to run 1008 miles pulling 71,000 in the mountains? Not impossible but it sure doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Had the shipper got this loaded in a timely manner I’d be able to make the delivery. Dispatch thinks Lear makes the Cascadia…lmao-
On another note, my Espar heater completely quit. I’ve reset it with no results so we run the Opti-Idle for heat or a/c whichever we need until I can get it to a terminal. Struggles and trials is all it is. But, it’s ok… God is still good. Instead of me getting mad and upset about it, I just have to remember where the issues are coming from. God allows it but He’s not the problem. God has blessed my wife and I in a lot of ways lately.

Why can't you do 1000 miles over two days? Even with the mountains you should be able to avg over 45 mph. You might have to run on the 10 and limit the number and duration of stops, but it should be doable.
