Any solo company OTR drivers for Crete Carrier? Considering making the move to them.

I'm not putting up with that crap for .70 cents per mile or 1300$ a week, and telling me when I can go home.

I'd rather buy my own truck (not lease purchase) as an O/OP and gross 6-11K a week and self dispatch.

Trucking is supposed to be about freedom, and fun, not slavery.

 

I tell my company when im going home. Never an issue.

 

Good news calling one recruiter these days, you'll still be getting calls 2 years later.

 

If your record is clean and your previous employers from the past 10 years cooperate, it doesn't take Crete long to process your app. The last time I came back, it took them all of 2 hours to go from application to scheduling orientation.(Since I was a rehire, it was an easy employment check), and this time I don't think it took them that long.

 

Give Wal-Mart a try. You'll make $130K - $150K+ a year.

 

HELL NO. I don't know why so many people think Walmart is the ####....if Walmart was the last trucking job on earth, I would panhandle at the end of a interstate ramp with a crutch and a cardboard sign before I would work for The Great Satan Corporation.
