They just had a major system upgrade a week or so ago where the entire system was shut down for nearly 12hrs on a Friday night..I’m wondering if there’s glitches from that occurring

So the answer they gave me, and they never lie to me, is that detention starts at 2 hours, and starts paying at 2 hours 15 minutes in 15 minute increments ($3.75 per quarter hour, $15 per hour). When I said that I used to get the detention notice after an hour, they shrugged and said you can send the detention form after an hour, but it pays as outlined above. So it could be that the system notification changed. They were not sure about that.
I rarely file for detention because I rarely have a live load/unload go over an hour or hour and a half. When it happens, it's usually more than that because the load isn't ready at the shipper.Bumper, Friend, navypoppop and 2 others Thank this. -
Same where I went back to aswell. I’m just just saying up to 4 total hours unpaid on each load.

There are times I arrive to pick up preloaded tell and it’s not ready due to lack of equipment there and I’ll take my 10hr break and collect $150 in detention pay..O.Henry, xlsdraw, Bud A. and 1 other person Thank this.

That’s a different story. I thought I was responding to live load unload and time not compensated. But even then $150 bucks for 10hours I’d rather the wheels be rollin.Last edited: May 14, 2026 at 1:32 PM

Another uneventful day. Arrived at my delivery 30 min early. There was a Roehl ahead of me, both of us had a floor load of insulation to unload. I figured I was gonna be there a while, but to my surprise, we both were empty and out of there within 3 hours.(I have had to wait for a door at an "un-named" grocery warhouse longer (their name rhymes with roger). Made it to my pick up in Lebanon a little after 11, was loaded and rolling a little after noon. Got fueled in Mechanicsburg and made it to Raphine for the night. Have less than 9 hours to my delivery. With that NH double t-call last week that ended up carrying over, that'll put me over 3600 for the week. I am planning on going home on the 28th and taking a few days off. I hope I don't get out of the freight grove by doing that, things are rolling right along.
Friend, Speed_Drums, Vic Firth and 9 others Thank this. -
Im kinda surprised a fleet message hasn't been sent, but FYI if anyone is planning on hitting the Cheyenne terminal in the near future, get off at the 370 exit, with the sapp bros. Road west of the terminal is under construction, all torn up
Friend, Bud A., drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this.
