Yeah, forgot to mention that. The story is that all of the heavy trucks coming in to build the data center to the west tore up the road so bad that they're rebuilding it. PITA. There are a total of 70 data centers planned for Laramie county.

I’m sure 70 data centers won’t draw the water table down or anything. I feel bad for anyone reliant on well water.

Wyoming is very passive about the data center thing which is why big tech is swarming here.

Pretty shortsighted in my opinion. WY has never been known for their abundance of water. And by the time people realize they’re running out of water it will be too late.

Delivered my Walmart load to Carrollton, GA, but they only had 1 Crete trailer, and it was at a dock, still loaded. So they bobtailed me down to Newnan to pu an empty. Headed to what is getting to be my usual pu when down on this side of Atlanta. I am picking up at the Lowe's (Southeast Freight terminal) going to Mt. Vernon TX again. It doesn't HAVE to be there until Wednesday, but my AM said this DC can deliver whenever, so I will get it there asap. Just turned 801 miles between noonish yesterday and 1400 today (including a fuel up and fuel island inspection in Mechanicsburg and another fuel up and fuel island inspection in Lenoir.) I was gonna run down 77 then around Charlotte to 85, but after my last trips thru that area, I've done my time in purgatory for this month. So I was an obedient trained monkey and fueled where I was told without requesting a new solution for once.

Why not...nothing else out there. They need to put up another gazillion wind turbines around those data centers too so they help power them since Wyoming just blows anyway...the sheep won't mind those whirlybirds.

The problem is being worked on at least. AI, data centers, and water | Brookings

The water usage required currently is unsustainable. Yet we can't concede A.I to China. Demand will generate a solution if past is prologue.

I am dreading when karma catches up to me. Got my empty in Newnan and went to the Pilot (at 1630) and found a free spot. Got up this morning and headed to my shipper, in and out in 20 min. The system routed me up thru the W. Memphis Love's for my fuel stop. I did some quick calculations, and even though it adds a few dozen miles compared to the route I was gonna take, I headed that way anyway because I had just enough time to fuel and get to the yard. I tried to get an A service in Mechanicsburg the other day, but they were backed up with dedicated trucks. So I put it off since I was still 1500 under my due mileage. I managed to get to the W. Memphis yard, now I am just under my due mileage. Pulled in, wrote the truck up and within an hour they called me to pull it in. Besides the service, he said it's due for a handful of small stuff and it should be done today. I decided to go ahead and do a 34 here. I could deliver tomorrow, but wouldn't have much time available to run for Monday, so I'll do a 34 and deliver before noon on Monday and have half a days worth of hours to run after empty. Sometimes things just work right...sorta like a blind squirrel finding a nut...still not regretting my switch to the dark, dry side.

I guess they’re doing that now when you send a form 32… I have over half a tank of fuel. I changed routes because they asked me to take interstate 90 versus I 94 so they can find a swap…

I get those when it thinks I can’t make it to a fuel stop.
