Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Ugh with as many issues as I've had this time out, these shop and road call surveys are getting annoying. Its been such relatively minor stuff too. Same tire on a trailer blew out, tandem air line blew so couldn't slide tandems, whatever the hell happened with my batteries, and then windshield wiper motor went out. Waiting for a drive tire to blow. Supposed to be home next week!

CS screws up again…told to drop between 0100-2100 today .. customer isn’t open till 0600…

 

Now finding out after I drop the trailer this morning at 6 AM that I could’ve dropped this trailer yesterday since I was in the area 10 AM yesterday morning

 

That's how I'm feeling about the last trailer I dropped at the Mars facility in West Jefferson, OH. Dispatch said it had to drop before 10 pm...got there only to find out they hadn't even touched the other trailer I dropped there a couple days prior.

 

Kutter stated that he’s gonna start working on publishing a list of trailer washout facilities that we have a charge account at after I spoke to him in Columbus about that…

 

Asked yesterday to tcall this load so I could get more miles on this week's check, and be a little more productive. Load doesnt deliver until after 1215 on Monday, but can get there earlier. Asked again today, twice. No answer, just "ill check woth planners". I'm not super upset about not being able to tcall, as i have like 12hrs on my 70 between Saturday and Sunday. What I am upset about is the lack of an answer. I didnt even get an acknowledgement for my hometime message. Going to be VERY picky about my next load. August has been garbage. Basically first 2 weeks we barely 2k miles, though one was due to breakdown, then going home. Then coming out from hometime. Then this week is maybe 2k miles. Will have 1800 Monday though so next week should be good. Then theres next weekend though with the holiday. We'll see what happens

 

Night dispatch must think I’m in a time portal…del fri night at 2000 in Greensboro then expect me to pu off the statesville yard and be in Pennsylvania before midnight Friday and asking why the delay in getting the load dropped on time….smh
