Yeah if it were me I would go with Holland too. The trucks are nice with refrigerators and 65 mph gov. Long avg. length of haul (and they mean it)

Denzil is a nice guy. Go to Holland and skin it up.

Holland is a good company. I've worked at many, and it was the best out of all. I only recently left because of my wife's health and to be home. I was there for over two years and if I was still OTR I would stay indefinitely.

I have been trying to find more info on Holland, do they have a good website ?
It seems like when I type in their name Holland trucking nothing much comes up.
Is it called something different ?
What type of trucks and transmissions do they have.
I thought I read somewhere that you can have a rider from day one , no waiting period.
My wife will travel with me at all times and I like the idea of her being a rider from day one if this is true.
I will try to research more on their hiring requirements, if you have any info for a newbie I would really appreciate it. -
It's Holland Enterprises, not Trucking.
Freightliner Cascadias 10spd.
Rider from Day one is what it says on Website.
Think it's 2yr min. But not sure. -
It's www.hollandent.com and yes, rider from day one, my wife actually went to orientation with me and always was with me. They charge for rider insurance now but it's only a little over $20 a month and only when you have a passenger. They also have a great drivers lounge, wifi, computers, cable, showers, and bedrooms for drivers coming through. There's also a bar and grill on the corner, anything else you have to drive into Fargo for, but there are company minivans you can use. You need one year experience, but call and see because it's a small company and you can just ask. We did meet a guy who was not far out of school. All their trucks are Cascadia's (our first one is in my pic) and always 3 years or less old, all with APU's, and fridges. Plus if you buy an inverter the shop will install it permanently for you.

I believe Holland wants you to stay out 5 weeks at a time.
dennisroc Thanks this. -
How much home time after 5 weeks out ?
-
It's actually 3 out and like 3-4 off but they are pretty loose on that.dennisroc Thanks this.

I noticed that, I was looking on that site just out of boredom, seems like one or two people have a grudge against some guy named Denzil, but never really says why that person got fired or left. The OP on there mentions something about Denzil giving him a warning truck abandonment, but that's a given in this industry... You abandon a truck at any company, it will show up on your DAC. Of course that's taking into account some companies like JB hunt, Werner, etc will fire drivers while they are on the road. Also the OP on that page goes on the insult anyone that dares to defend holland or Denzil, so there's a lot more to that poster's story.
