I've seen about every color headlight in the spectrum..green included. Very weird. I really hate the blue looking kind, too bright

You might be given a hard time by an officer if he thinks it is too close to volunteer firefighters lights ... Not sure why people are putting these blue or green or yellow or even pink headlights on ...what was ever wrong with the regular yellow lights? Easy on the eyes and the oncoming traffic's eyes, gets the job done. I know you aren't likely to be going to the fire hall in your tractor but do you really want to walk the thin line with law enforcement?

No ... read your state's light requirements. The US DOT has standards and the white light has a range of color temps but green, blue and other colors are not part of their definition.

It is one of these things that people need to be realistic, having colored lights are not safe to begin with.

By the way, if you have them and the cop is nasty, you will be put OOS and have to replace them before you are released.

Clear (white) or amber to the front, red to the rear. That's what I was taught those many, many moons ago in school.

The colored lights are the same as the "black outs". Neither are legal, but the po po has bigger things to concern themselves with. Like loud stereos and dark tinted windows. I'm sorry, but loud stereos and dark windows have never caused me to just about run over top of a car.

    HorseShoe Thanks this.

I drive a stock Kenworth 680,and the lights have a blueish type color.I constantly get people cussing me out, over the CB.They also keep their brights on,while trying to get my attention. If its a single vehicle,I usually quickly flash my brights, but mainly,I just let it go.
It would be nice if everyone ran the same bulbs.
