Not too well!!! Yesterday came in after a new second shift driver drive my truck and the bottom of the front bumper is all bashed up. Didn't even tell anyone. I see why places are always hiring... Either guys don't show up or they bash everything in sight lol.
Jacknife in a tight spot?

I play around all the time trying new things. Backing can be the hardest thing to do well in this job.I just wont be doing it at a travel center at 5pm
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Easy backing technique demonstrated--
tucker Thanks this. -
Easier to be like water than rock in stream . . .
dngrous_dime and Dominick253 Thank this. -
How's your business doing by the way? Still liking skateboarding in the snow and cold? That's part of the reason I got out of flatbed. 0F 30mph wind and freezing rain while waiting for the contractor sucked.

That's a horrible video lol. 3 minutes of sitting at a red light then he pulls through? I was expecting to get some good info on improving my backing skills.

I used to sometimes train new drivers at an old job. Guys like that sucked and didn't last long, we were doing food service so the lazy know it all's would leave quick. I initially thought you meant he wanted to practice, not that he was incompetent lol.thaistick and Dominick253 Thank this.

Everybody should get so lucky as to have to back into the inside docks at Tropicana, in Bradenton Florida at night.
Practice makes you better not perfect, even the older drivers have a brain fart once in a while. -
I look for the best spot that requires a little angle as possible. If I dont find any I take whatever else and I dont care about angle. Like the others say, dont make it harder than it needs to be!
