That's pretty much it.
Worked there 8 years.TequilaSunrise and Kolorado Thank this. -
Either meet and turn (you meet a driver midway and swap sets), or linehaul (you take it the whole way).
Easiest way to make $ driving - way better than OTR.
Team it, and really beat the house odds.
Takes hard work though. No piddling about in truck stops and taking nana naps.Longarm, lagbrosdetmi and Kolorado Thank this. -
Is that daycabs only? i've seen od trucks with sleepers
-
Day cab solo.
Sleeper team.Kolorado Thanks this. -
Hey Blair, I heard you're at the Indy site.. I'm finished school with all my endorsements and I'm thinking of moving to Indy from VA..
Do u like it in Indy? And how's the pay starting out??blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
These are the different titles they have listed on their website, could you tell me the differences if you don't mind?
Driver Pick-Up and Delivery
SVC Mileage Line Haul Driver
Container Drayage Driver -
Pick up and delivery driver - also called P&D. Pulls 28, 48 or 53 trailers in a short radius to pick up and deliver shipments, one or two pallets/drums/pieces at a time. Day cab.
SVC Mileage Line Haul Driver - I assume these are the 'linehaul' drivers that either 'meet and turn', or go the whole way through, terminal to terminal.
Container Drayage - I have no idea of this operation, never met any drivers or had anything to do with it. I guess it's picking up and delivering containers from the port.DC843, Kolorado, AnthonyM757 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I no longer work for them. We were based in SE Kansas.
Indy has a beautiful new terminal - recently expanded - huge.AnthonyM757 Thanks this. -
Why'd you leave, if you don't mind me asking? Are you still doing LTL?blairandgretchen Thanks this.
