We set out old furniture and appliances on the curb and the recyclers from Juarez will pick it up. Garage sales are gold mines in the borderland. Sometimes you can sell most of your stuff in one shot. They will buy by the truckload.

Do uuuuuuuu wait an hour to brush your teeth because all 3 sinks are being used as baths?
They wet their hair, their bellies, their armpits, wash their feet. What's wrong with one of them free showers?
Do uuuuuuu stand in piss puddles when you use the urinal????
How about the toilets. Cluttered with tp on the seats. Clogged with poop and tp. smeared seats.

I know you see the bags of poop and bottles of piss all over the country. Nevada is turning in to a waste landfill.

How about all the crap in their trucks. You can't see their dash. Or their passenger seats.

Not ignorance. This profession has gone to pigs. And that's reality. Can't even get your truck fixed anymore. NONE of them speak english. Ask for a valve gut to fix a flat tire. You get a valve cap. Then you get the whole valve stem.

 

Not to mention curb jumping , running over the cart corrals, tearing down light poles, etc. THEN they take a dump in the parking lot.

 

Just to point out that you can't use personal convaence (yes it is spelled wrong - stupid apple) because you are under load.

Next time I would tell them you have a Bol with a delivery at SAMs/walmart and you are to wait until they tell you that you can go, arrival and check in should mean you are stuck.

 

How did we get from parking to trash in the trailer to drivers are trash?

 

And then they wonder why we don't go on strike.....we can barely stay on subject

 

Got a 1700 miler. Only 31:25 on the 70 with nothing coming back. Dels on the 8 in LA of all places. Planned 4 days ahead. Conclusion: leave the Pilot in Hesperia at 3am and get into the city before Monday rush hour. Then leave to the ta after del for 34hr reset. See, no time for traffic or other BS.

This is why I'm never driving for "big box trucking, inc" ever again. Small mom and pop outfits who treat you right or independent O/O calling your own shots. Those are the only two options I could stomach at this point. MAYBE a nice local LTL job but I've had a few of those too and they can very hit or miss.
