So im parked at the TA in Baytown TX watching security guys get truck to move to a parking spot. Something with yellow lines i guess. I know some drivers park in the easiest spot they can but why is it only TA i see doing this? Denver CO, Bloomington IL are two others that come to mind.

In some cases i agree. I can see open spots. Not to mention the reserved spots. They were just knocking on the door of a nose in truck thats parked between to lines mid row.

Carlisle, PA flying j called tow truck before and even the fire Marshall to write tickets to truck park in the fire zone. According to the store manager he said he do this on a daily basis.

I've seen the cops come and start writing tickets to trucks parked out front in the massive red zone there.
When I'm up that way I go to the petro down the street where there's enough parking -

If you park on private property and are asked by the police to get off because the property owner requested it, does the officer have the right to cite you without allowing you to remove yourself?

I can't see it being much different than parking in a handicap space illegally. Besides, I think it would be better to deal with a parking ticket than to get arrested for trespassing.
