The section from PA to Rt 219 or close to it is not bad anymore, they have fixed that section in the last few years. Before that I remember it bouncing you out of your seat for the first 20 miles into NY!

Ohio and Penn. Penn will never fix the mess they created. Ohio should not even charge anybody a toll on 80 to deal with that mess. Tolls on 80 through Ohio should be waived until they fix the mess they have on their hands it's a joke out there right now it really isroll_tide07 and Hick Thank this.

Yea, I remember the first time I hit that... at night with my trainer. Forgot about that. Screw that place lol.
IL gets an honorable mention just for what they did to I-88. That entire road is trashed. I hate going to that Walmart DC through there.
And all speeding tickets voided. That's all they are doing with the empty zones anyhow... setting people up for tickets when they get numb from empty cone after empty cone. -
Ill vote for California. Got ####tiest road in the nation, and they keep working on same section of road for years and its never done.

Texas is by far the worst state for construction. It's a civil engineers dream, they're always building massive overpasses in every direction, and when construct a road they always make the lanes so small there's no room for error. The worst area right now is around ft worth and i35W and i820
Pennsylvania is the most annoying state because they'll throw up construction zone speed limit signs even if they aren't even working in an area. They plan on working 6 months from now yet they throw up the speed zones right away. No one respects the zones at all. Illinois is the same way, they'll throw up a 45mph construction zone and leave it up months after work is done just because some day in the future they'll finally decide to paint lines
The worst roads in the country are Indiana because they never fix them, they just do pathetic little patchworkJacoooooooo Thanks this. -
My home and current state of Georgia. They will never EVER stop messing with I-75 They start a project claim they run out of money too finish it and then all of a sudden start another project on another section of the Interstate. I know they're some of you drivers in favor of the possible truck lanes from Mcdonough down to Macon. I personally hope it DOES NOT go threw. For drivers and people that have never lived in GA. Please do not take it the wrong way but, it will take years upon years to get that done.
I81 near Scranton is a mess. Illinois is just a complete orange cone zone. Michigan roads are gonna break my suspension. Oh lord there's just too many too name Lets just put it like this All the lower 48 states are in bad condition. -
Kentucky. Each time they close one lane out of 3, there's gonna be 10 mile back up for nothing. And you still have 2 lanes open in that direction! SMH. Maybe it's just me.

I vote for IN. You need to put together quite a team to be more annoying than that place. My worst experience there was about a year ago on I 65 when they had completed work an the Wildcat creek bridge. Then, they closed it saying there was a problem. I was headed north, and I thought "Oh well 52 is right next to it, no big deal." Turns out 52 was also closed for road work, and 1 zillion vehicles were routed through some minor road that made everyone make a turn at some stop sign, bar and a church intersection out in the boonies. That was about two hours of frustration.
