Dropping and hooking is, in my opinion, not that exciting. Cranking down the gear and unhooking is the part of the job I dislike the most.

You must really hate when they make you disconnect and pull forward during a live load?

The worst part of trucking is anytime you are working hard, you aren't being paid enough.

Hooking into trailers with bad tires, bad brakes, bad lights, door won't open door won't close, no registration, no mudflap, side skirt falling off, reefer won't run, reefer won't shut off, reefer won't cool, somebody stole the reefer fuel and $200,000 load of produce is rotting inside, air leaks, oil hub leaks, no license plate, holes in the roof leaking rain on the product. Spend wayy too much time fixing trailers instead of hauling freight.
