I just never saw any grocery receiving where it mattered if you were unloaded in 5 minutes or 5 hours because until the checker decided to look it over you're gonna be there.

I don't go anywhere with attitude but most times at these big DC's a smile and hi might get you a strange look if anything.

Yeah lol. Funny part is years ago I was at a place that had one of those to unload trucks down in Dublin, GA. It was a load of scrap paper. And they had a line of trucks a 1/4 a mile long waiting to unload, sat there for hours and hours and hours. That was when I was a company driver. I see brokers move that #### for nothing these days but not on my truck lol.

I've seen a few chip dumpers that pick up the entire truck and trailer. ..I'm not a chip hauler, dry van here, but I've always said to myself when I see them at a paper mill site, that it can't be good for the truck, not to mention hope their aint anything unsecured inside your truck cab. I don't know, just my thought is all

That's because they figure anybody that looks happy to be there must be nuts.

yeah really lol

This was a place that unloaded dry van like that. And the one in that pic showed the trailer only. This papermill in Dublin, GA does lifts the trailer still hooked to the tractor up in the air. So yeah if you have loose stuff in your cab it is going to get tossed around. Never ever accept anything recycled to Dublin, GA no matter what is offered - most times just junk rates.KB3MMX and free spirited1 Thank this.
