This is going to would really strange....but here it goes.

First Mercer cannot force you to run their plates. With that being said.....it's a better deal to use Mercer plates. They take care of all the IFTA. No hassles. All you need to do is buy cheap fuel without sweating the IFTA BS.

Could I get Missouri Plates and deal with where I should fuel, paperwork, milage tracking and all the other headaches that come with IFTA.....yes.

Or would I rather run Mercer tags and all I have to do is buy cheap fuel where ever I want.
I opt to run the Mercer plates......much better deal.

I Could easily get Missouri Plates and hassle with all the tracking, paperwork and where to fuel and not to fuel. But why would I want to do this when Mercer takes care of all the IFTA.....and all you need to do is buy cheap fuel where ever you want.:hello1:

If you leave all you need to do is get a hunters permit when looking for another carrier. Its good for 30 days.

Also don't forget that safety bonuses are applied towards plates so they are actually cheaper. I think mine only cost $1200 or so this year. You don't get that if you run your plates. But I agree, IFTA is the biggest selling point.
