Refer not as fast paced as van

I am thinking if Hillary wins, the economy may tank so going reefer might be safer than dry van as people still gotta eat and won't dropoff as bad.

 

Because freight is dead slow and cheap at the moment.

 

If hilly wins I'm moving to mexico !

 

Listen, there is no reason for one type of hauling freight ( such as reefer ) to be any better than another (dry van ), just because of who is elected POTUS.
Now while it is possible ALL freight may slow depending on who wins, but food is carried in both types. Dry is canned goods, cereals,snacks, etc and reefer is frozen higher priced items like ice cream, fancy meat, special produce . Groceries ride in both trailers.
Now at times one type of trucking may be better than another, but it is wrong to say one kind will outperform the other just because of who wins the election.There are other factors.

I don't care anymore who is Potus, this Nation is in a really bad place right now. Just tonight I have another article in which Truck sales have fallen again this quarter YOY (ZH)

Trucking is supposed to be intense in time. Not laying around sleeping and waiting for dispatch.

 

I would prefer that Hill and Trump stop the traveling and campaigning and take a few days rest with family at home.. Nothing but grilling food and so on. Quiet all around under good security. Especially trump, it's not hard for someone with a Leapold at a mile and a .30-06 to end everything from the fence line or tree line because he refuses to stop flying into airports and then make speeches next to his plane.

Maybe Im the nut. But a useful nut to dare to think about things and talk about em good or bad because someone has to consider it and if no one does then there is no point.

After this time in our Life is over I intend to absolutley and fully go Hermit as far as Political anything. But I will not stop staying current on the new hardware coming out for Christmas season. It's awesome.

 

Did we skip civics class in school? POTUS only has the power to sign bills that congress sends into laws. Or try to use a Presidential Mandate like our current leader likes to do, and those can be blocked or revoked by either of the other 2 branches of the government...

As far as reefer vs. dry, the one big difference...you can haul a dry load in a reefer, but you can't haul a reefer load in a dry van...having done dry most of my trucking life, and now hauling a reefer, another big differences is length of haul. I do a lot more long runs now as opposed to a lot of 1 day runs when I pulled a van. Less drop/hook or load/unload means more of my 70 goes towards turning miles.

 

The Dems depend on the masses of ignorant people to vote for them. The reason is, it's almost impossible to control smart, educated people. That's why over the centuries, dictators that want to have absolute control over the masses, will execute the educated. The masses of ignorant will vote for her even though their lives get worse with Dem presidents; the Obama administration is proof of that. Their lives are worse now than 8 years ago, but they'll still elect a Dem because they just can't comprehend what they are doing. They think Trump will deport them and are too ignorant to know the President doesn't have the power to deport anyone. Hillary knows they're stupid, so she tells them "Vote for me and I won't deport you; vote for Trump and he will deport you." Ignorant people actually believe her and will make sure she's the next president.

 

Supersnack it a lot more up for grab then in the past who ever goes into this know up front they will tip Supreme Court to either progressive or conservative . That is major and if current president can show anything congress is to corrupt to up hold the checks and balances of power that they are elected to do all the way around dem and republicans
