It snowed a bit in northern IL and central/southern WI today. A few IL snow plows were kinda' driving around looking like they were plowing, got over the WI state line and those boys got it done like they got a bonus for speedy completion of snow removal...they got about as much snow...but their roads were mostly just wet with an occasional strip of slush here and there.

Here is a still from my phone/dashcam app from IL (sorry, it was that one or the one with the wiper 1/2 way blocking the view)

And what the front of my chariot looked like.

As much as I grump...one positive I have is that I still say these Pete's slick road agility are one of their best attributes.

I was on I95 in New Jersey today going through a toll booth. A wide load tried to squeeze through, but didn't make it. He wedged himself right in there. I wanted to get a pick so bad, but safety and time got in the way.

Went to bed last night in Grand Forks with a 20% chance of snow. Woke up to a winter storm warning 9-12 inches of snow there starting at 3pm . Winter storm advisory for Fargo 3-6 inches its now a blizzard warning. Got out of there as fast as I could after getting loaded. Portage WI for my 10.

There were a lot of cars and trucks in ditches between Williston and Jamestown. Most of 52 was only plowed on one side or down the center. I think the plow driver is in cahoots with the tow companies.

Been hanging out with @Pigbacon since I left North Dakota last Friday. Took a 34 at the Choctaw Truck stop and Casino about 20 miles from my delivery.
Drove down to Paris, Texas and delivered yesterday 1200. Day of layover and loading at Grand Prarie headed back up to Mankato MN.
Piggy is picking up at the same place and going up to MN too... so watch out for the 2 Magnum trucks headed north!
