    Yes. Got about 3 years left on it, but my goal is to pay it off early. Haven't had any major repairs. Though I've been dealing with the AC draining it's refridgerent. That's it. Hoping to have it paid off by the end of this year. Looking to be the case, but we'll see.

    Lori states up front they aren't the cheapest rate around for buying a truck, but she was incredibly honest about everything start to finish. I'd rather have someone go through the entire lease and answer any questions, than someone try an sweet talk me into a deal.

    Nope. I'm on 72%. Possibly looking into get my own trailer here by June of the stars line up. That'll bump me up to 82%.

    My average rate for all miles loaded and deadhead is 1.48 at 72%. I usually do about 200-500 deadhead miles a week depending on where I'm going to. Usually I'm averaging about 3500-4000 miles per week. Depends on when I get empty and if I unload on a Friday and sit over the weekend. I usually make it home for a 34 every week and a half or so too. Can't really complain.

    I think my message may have come across incorrectly. While preplans are rare, most of the time once I've sent in my empty call they have freight to immediately offer me. It's only on rare occasions do I have to wait a couple hours for new freight.

    I think the lack of preplans is due more to their policy with the load boards meaning, first empty, first reloaded. I could be wrong tho. I have on occasion been called by one of the load planners if I am the last truck in an area to be unloaded because no matter what I'll be next on the board. That's usually when I'll get something offered to me before I'm empty because I'm next no matter what. You could call that a preplan I guess.

    Did you work for system? Or not anymore?

    I Did, until Oct of last year. I was on the PHX(240), they kept me running and I got home often.
    The last truck(newest 2017 t680) was having maintenance problems CEL that they had to put in a KW shop to fix and not 500 miles later the light was back. Simply said, there was a problem with the truck that cast a doubt on its reliability, and I wasn't going to switch trucks again(3 in 6 months.)
    I didn't appreciate the extra work involved with drop and hooks and I hate LA. I know it's part of doing business in PHX, but I had had it with going out there so often. The office people(Spokane) were mostly competent, which made the 1.5 years there bearable.

    Just curious? Why was the load unsecure. I'm sure there was a reason , one that you relayed to your dm. That he conveniently could not recall when questioned.

    The just started a new pay package increase. I ran on a dedicated account with them a few years back, the new pay is significantly higher. Anyone here on the Phoenix regional, how often are you home(I live in vegas)?

    Heh, Lars is a good dude. Had the following exchange with him once:
    "Lars, I'm thinking about switching to TWT."
    <face lights up> "Ready to go to the reefer side?"
    "Sure, then the most important thing I have to remember is to tell the lumpers which side of the sleeper to knock on when they're done unloading me."
    <face no longer lit up>
