OK, I talked to a fellow Driver whose governor was set to 65, but most of the Portland fleet tractors are set to 62. Honest! We all complain to each other about it.
On cruise control I clog up the lane at 60.
There are a bunch of Owner-Ops driving their own tractors with the DSV livery; perhaps it was one of those guys. -
Sammons went the way of the dinosaurs years ago. Sammons was bought by UTI, then recently UTI was bought by DSV ( which is out of Denmark).
Yup they still have the same share cropper fleece purchase predatory schemes going on. Don't bother with them. -
Sammons is still ran and operated as it always has. Open load boards, self dispatch, your success or failure is on you. Fyi it is Sammons transportation dba. DSV..... DSV just opened the door to more freight options.

.Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
Not a recruiter just a driver. I don't speak for the market side from what I hear it's bad on that side. But as for Sammons. Dsv did attempt to come in and change things. Didn't work so they allowed management to continue as it was. The dsv freight is cheap. But it's an open load. I pull from any and all load boards not just in house. Self dispatched which is why I said it's on you if you make it or not. Better money if you have a truck or bring a truck on.

I ran FM DC out of both Puyallup and Chehalis. Puyallup is Grocery, all of which delivers at night on a varied days schedule, 7 day week.
Chehalis is the GM or Variety Whose..it delivers on a dayrime schedule throughout the region it supplies to, some routes requiring ONE overnight trip.
I was paid per stop whether loading, unloading, or not. I was given a variance of hourly and cpm aa well, and always cleared 9-11 each pay period.
Not sure of,your issue...but I can advise y'all to be certain you are not injured -
Probably explains why the yard jockeys at that Fred Meyer warehouse are such miserable ########. I don’t miss going to that place. Last time I was there it was the usual 5-6 hour wait, a messed up 14 hour clock and one of the yard jockeys making the mistake of screaming at me to “get the #### out of our lot this isn’t a truck stop” while I was on the phone calling in os&d to dispatch. He didn’t like it much when I picked up the tire thumper and looked at him like “excuse me?”. And that’s after a previous time one of their idiot local drivers decided to pull right out of an intersection almost in front of me. I have no respect towards that POS company.
