Help Stop ELD Mandate by Signing this Petition

Sign me up... I only get 20-30 a day, mostly about the free JC Penny gift card, free oil change coupon, or someone trying to fool me into believing I have compensation coming from some African country. I need something new

 

I support the mandate from a technology perspective, I am not a company driver, and run paper. I will still run paper after the ELD. The lack of support seems to be coming from folks who for years have been falsifying logs. Instead of changing the rules to some that work, it was easier to have 2 sets of logs. Now that the ELD is here, folks think stopping it will fix the problem, it doesn't. Why not petition to have the HOS Changed? The ELD's can be reprogrammed to accommodate the change. This allows technology to move forward, and folks to operate legally. I am still waiting to see who goes in and tells Congress they falsify their logs today.

 

you should be petitioning for a hours of service law change instead of getting rid of the ELD mandate

 

It was a congressional mandate, Trump can't stop it, only can congress can.

 

Forget about wasting your time. The Supreme Court has even refused to hear this case. ELDs are coming and we might has well accept it. Your petition will wind up in the trash can.

 

I'm sure everyone has their own interest in mind.Ive driven for companies that made bank by pushing drivers to play with the logs.It was with trucks that were neutered and ran slow.
I'm through driving 16 hrs at 62 mph,for someone elses benefit.
IF!! I was an o/o I could see your point,as it would benefit me,and my wallet.
As a lowly company driver, I hope this pushes companies to finally take "our" time seriously,and keep us moving,and legal!!

Why many of you so excited about this stupid elog I ran elog made no money can't even drive 11 hours plus bunch you are lier making 70+ prove it on elog u can barely drive 2to3k a week so stop saying your making that much

 

No one here claimed to be making 70k on elogs. Not sure where that came from. However, if we are going to have an open and honest discussion about this then please stop making things up.
