I pulled into Frito-Lay in Jonesboro Arkansas from Wisconsin you had appointment time set you pull in and park in a designated slot when it was your time you buy it backed up on the ramp onto the loader drop the trailer on the loader push it all the way back to the stop unhook it cold out and they would do hydraulics to empty the trailer like a teeter totter work really well really like job didn't care much for the company they bankrupted left everybody sitting I put a mechanic's lien on them so that the bank would give me my money when they sold assets

I heard they don't tip reefer trailers up in the air. I was told that's why they flooded the reefer trailers. I don't know if that's true or not, however, just heresay.

It's a piece of construction equipment.
You've seen them a thousand times. There everywhere.
They use them for all kinds of things.

It basically a small front loader that can fit into tight
Spaces. You drive it just like a zero turn mower.
We callem a bobtail or bobcat.
It's got a bunch of different tools you can hook
To the front of it depending on what the job is.

Ive never called it bobtail, as its not a bobtail.

Its a skid steer or a bobcat. Mini front end loader if the kids wanna say that. Hell i been around them for 13 years. Not once have i heard it called a bobtail.

Just like you drivers calling straight trucks bobtails.

    NOOOOOO!

Grubby, Dharok and austinmike Thank this.

Used to haul into Herr's in Hanover, PA.

We used 48' spread axle reefers without the reefer unit. Just filled the grooves with foamboard insulation. Herr's would tip them off on the scale (tractor went up with the trailer).

Never bothered with a washout. There was nothing left after Herr's was done. Just ran down for the next load.

    Fun job while it lasted.
