Truth told I moved today .
My now former female roommate met a guy online a few weeks ago and has moved him right in ( a skinny IT geek with the personality of a brick )
I said see ya and moved out .
Somthing about computer geeks that gives them no personality.Shock Therapy and motocross25 Thank this. -
Well at least you got CONTROL of the situation and got to ESCAPE and found an ALT place to live. We'll be sure to MONITOR your progress...I can't think of anymore computer puns.DaveT445, Shock Therapy and Dharok Thank this.

I'm breaking in Dunn, NC, loading in the morning at some paper place (dry load) in Franklinton and then deliver later in the day in Knoxville, then headed to Lebanon to turn in my trailer (she's completes her last load tomorrow) and have the first service done on my new truck '18 Freightliner Cascadia.

A postage stamp size Love's across OK 49 from the Ft Sill Apache Gate in Lawton, OK. Final drop in Enid, OK tomorrow late morning and then on to Hamilton, OH.

Sitting in Denver at the Quality Inn

Picked up this noon and was on the way to Omaha, pulled out at the exit Iliff I-76 for a pee brake, slowed down and suddenly the engine made expensive noises, took her in neutral and the engine stopped immediately. Could just roll out to the side so I was out of traffic. Opened the hood, coolant level was low. Filled up 2 gallons of coolant and 4 gallons of water. All that stuff disappeared in the engine I think, cause my oil level got higher and higher.
Was on the phone with Mike, our shop manager and when I told him, the fluids disappear and the engine is not turning (cause something blocks the turn) when I try to start, he called the tow truck. Towed me to their yard to drop the trailer and then back to Volvo in Commerce City.
Engine was running normal, no overheating, oil pressure was normal and has no leak.
Something broke and I think this will be a big repair.Last edited: Jul 28, 2017

Wow!! I did not expect that. That's a bummer man I'm sorry. Well if there's 1 good thing it's that it happened there and not like the other week when you were running thru the desert at 118 degrees. Keep us updated and best of luck to ya bud.

Finally got my backhaul on out of Springfield, MO headed back to Omaha. I feel like a mole I've been underground all morning at the caves. Only caves I've been in before have been Valmeyer, IL, Quincy, IL, Carthage, MO and years ago I was in some cave in KC. I wanna say I was delivering to Lanter. But I can't be certain on that. And there's a little one off Koch Rd right before Illinois on the bottom side of the St. Louis loop I-255. Either way Springfield has em way beat. Well lit, signs, plenty of room. 2 thumbs way up, fine holiday fun.

Never been into a cave, not sure I could do that, I get creeped out in certain places, thinking that sounds like it would be one of them.motocross25 and Shock Therapy Thank this.

Oh you'd be alright. The one in Springfield is really nice I was impressed. I delivered diamond tipped blades to the cave in Quincy and they had me go all they way back to where they were cutting. They escorted me back there I followed some pickup and when we got there they said we were under 18th street. And the entrance to the cave is Gardner Denver Expressway which is 3rd. And then they were jackin around and had to get a forklift and then inspect them. That was a "get me TF out of here" moment. Now I think they're under 24th street. I always wondered if the people on those blocks knew what was going on under them.
