I went skidding into the rest area just south of St. Joe last night with 8 minutes on my clock. I wanted to make sure I had enough hours to make Omaha and turn around to St. Louis. They called as I was leaving Nacogdoches saying there was a pre loaded trailer for St. Louis with my name on it, already loaded. It didn't come from our plant tho, but rather the one down the street. Which explains it being already loaded before Saturday night. Either way I'll take it. Delivers Monday morning am and then I'm off till Tuesday sometime I suppose. I did notice though at our plant there were 3 Morehouse trailer docked in. I'll have to give our good friend Zing trouble about that over on the Morehouse thread![]()

The J in Casper. Headed to California for Sunday morning unload. Hoping to see a preplan tomorrow that keeps me busy over the holiday weekend
-
Unloaded Rancho Cucamonga earlier today. They could not get me loaded out of SoCal before Tuesday so I headed over to my "Chino Resort" for a 2-night stay but load down in Irvine at 05:00 Tuesday.
Place next door has all sorts of takeout beer and booze, Safeway across the street, plus other assorted restaurants and fast-food joints nearby, so I'll be putting on a few extra pounds this holiday weekend and doing some binge watching of something.
Dam it's hot here, today. Glad I'm indoors.Shock Therapy Thanks this. -
I dropped at Americold in Atlanta (Westgate) day before yesterday, shot up to Cartersville parked at the Pilot and waited for my Anheuser Busch load to get ready. It was supposed to be ready at 0100 Friday, but wasn't ready until about 1000 so no way I could make it to deliver because the customer stops receiving at 1000 so I went home and delivered it yesterday. Now I'm home for R&R.
I left the house on 10 August and got home Friday (did have to run down the road and deliver that beer load yesterday). Did 12,127 miles for the month. That's pretty much my average. My low is *usually* 11.5k and I hit 13k about every other month or so. -
Hey @motocross25 hows it going, still making a go of it at GOE?
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Where's @motocross25 ?
I'm running my butt off since I left the home on Friday 8.
7400 miles in 15 days chasing my 70.
In North Platte NE right now, deliver in the morning and another driver brings me a trailer for NorCal, delivering on Monday. Don't have the hrs to go to the yard and back to Cali for Monday. -
Brazil, IN with a Phoenix Load. I hate Phoenix. I'm home sick for the PacNW. Haven't seen WA or OR in over a month, and I've seen way too much of the southwest US lately.

Deliver in Robert, LA in the morning and pick up preload in LaCombe as soon as I can get there and drop in Loveland, CO Monday whenever I can get there.

Hey all! It's been an interesting couple of weeks to put it mildly. I left Greater O to get my move to KC goin, everything went fine with that. But we had some unexpected health problems come up in the family quite literally the next day. Nothing serious but scary enough. Luckily it was laundry week and I had my fridge in the GOE truck dwindled down to nothing. I called and said I just couldn't be back. I have to be home more and around to help out. They were more than understanding, which was great. I'm running end dump now locally out of KC and loving it so far. 12 years in the trucking industry and I've never sent a trailer 40 feet straight up in the air it's a bit spooky.

I'm grateful for my time at GO and there are good people there, but I'm glad to be home every day and every weekend and not sitting hours on end at a meat plant or staring at a red dock light. My unload time is as fast as I can get the bed up. Which being new, isn't very fast yet, but still significantly less than getting a trailer unloaded at Sysco.
I appreciate @carramrod32 @G13Tomcat and @The Kraut wondering about me. I got my phone problems sorted out too finally, so I'll be on here more. But might spend a lot of time playing in the dirt over in the dump truck section.
