No clue how that goes besides applying online, they will call you when you finish the application and possibly a credit check.

I just don't believe the actual numbers I hear.

They use it to weed out the drivers who have never driven anything but automatics. Still a lot of manuals in the fleet, and most new drivers are going to get older trucks to start, which, as noted, are largely manuals.

right now it's $57,000 for a Cascadia with 400,000 miles. $3000 down & $452 per week for 33 months. Full warranty up to 500,000 then extended 2 year or 200,000 drive train warranty. The amount down varies from $2000-$7000 depending on credit, how long you've been with them & how well you run.

MikeyB. and Steel Dragon Thank this.

What amenities do the trucks have? What is their policy on idling?

    MikeyB. Thanks this.

Newer trucks have inverters, bunk heaters, no apu, truck shuts down after 5 mins but you can be no more than 15% idling time overall.

Screw that. Just another reason not to work for a mega otr fleet.

If the trucks don’t idle and there’s no APU, how do you stay cool in the warmer months?
