Funny, I watched an episode of Moonshiners where they made some kind of hooch with strawberries. I'll bet raspberries would work too. Just a thought, not implying that Arkansas has any moonshiners.

 

Well... Arkansas is many things you see, Im pretty sure there might be a family or three making something at home in the Ozarks somewhere far from the Revenuers (We still use that word)

I have lived here almost 20 years, long enough to quit being called that #### yankee, never mind Maryland's crooked history... (Lincoln jailed the state government and disarmed the police so that Md could not join the south to retain DC's defenses...)

Anyhow...

Arkansas is many good things I will say that. Ive learned to appreciate them. Not far up the road you can buy gallons of honey that took all of last year to make by bees right there on the ridge. IF you have the money to do it at the Amish farm that made it the long way. (Or rather watched it made...)

The honey at the store is crap. Im sorry, no offense. If you like that honey, then thank a trucker.

With that said, Arkansas unfortunately has some things we get laughed at by everyone else in this blessed USA. Shrugs. So I laugh too once in a while when something happens. If it's going to happen might as well let it happen here. Cannot do any worse I suppose.
