Glad to hear the shifting is getting better. I did 590 miles today. Just got parked at the Pilot in Burns Harbor, IN. Always seems to be a few open free spots here.

One driver is saying it’s slow season, honestly they should’ve of waited to do this Dispatch switch, too much sitting going on....

 

Do they figure your MPGs off peoplenet or do they figure it when you get fuel at the pumps with gallons vs miles?

I’ve been here nearly 5 months now. Hazmat background check is in progress so hopefully that will equate to more money.
I am probably not going to be able to pay rent this month, but miles have gotten much better the last couple weeks.

 

Hazmat won't make much of a difference. I was there 18 mos, and I think I hauled 3 or 4 Hazmat loads.

 

what’s going on with your miles? Hazmat won’t get you miles, just makes you more available if your in a area with a hazmat shipper or if in a low freight area. Since I got my endorsement earlier this year i’ve done 3 or 4 hazmat loads.

 

Hazmat adds points on your score for performance pay.
