    I run continuous in winter since if that reefer shuts down for 1/2 hour enroute when its 40 below restarting might be a issue that I dont need.

    Thanks everyone for both the encouragement and the healthy criticism. Definitely learned my lesson.

    The load just got accepted without any issues or questions. But we will definitely remember to pay more attention in the future.

    It is much easier to get a good sleep if you run on continuous, that jolt of start /stop sure disrupts the pattern. Then when you wake to a quiet surrounding it is a panic mode figuring out what went wrong, sometimes it is just someone who parked next to you flipping the switch where if you catch them you better have a police report if that load gets rejected.

    Pure water freezes at 32. Meat freezes at lower than that. 28 is a common temp to ship meat without freezing it.
