Just curious to see what mileage intervals do you guys rotate your drive tires? Mine have 55,000 on them don't see any irregular wear or anything like that. If its not broke no need to fix it or should I get them rotated? Thanks.

Measure the tread depth with a gauge, usually the right rear drive tires wear faster, so when the tread depth differs, have them rotated. Use the X pattern, right front to left rear, left front to right rear. If your steering axle tires are the same as the drive tires, you can rotate them into the drive axle and put 2 of the drive tires on the steers. Running a tire on the drives for awhile, gets a good wear pattern started, and the tires will wear nicely when rotated to steering axle.

I keep a tire wear chart, check depth every 10-15,000 miles.
When I see a notable difference, then I rotate.
Typically 50k or so.Oxbow, Dave_in_AZ and HalpinUout Thank this. -

If you use a lug type tire, watch for heel and toe wear. Rotate the tires before the heel/toe wear gets very noticeable to maximize tread life.

I have a tire wear thread going lol.
X pattern. That way they are turning the opposite direction as well for the next 50K.
I dunno what a TA or someplace charges, but the guy I use through it in with my PM, took him less than an hour.HalpinUout Thanks this. -

Yes. Right rear wears the fastest. Left front wears the slowest.
