This topic comes up often. Some of it eventually gets locked.
No employer allows weapons in anything related to a workplace. Be a pizza joint or a semi truck. etc. UNLESS it is a very narrow and particular type of work that does require weapons.
There is NO national carry yet. Some states will arrest you on sight the moment your gun is detected. Your bleats and protests will fall on deaf ears.
Some states are shall issue for licensing to carry. Some states do not do anything for that. Maryland is one example. If you do not have their non res or res license you are going to jail.
One resource I point you to is USCCA. They are online with resources and a wealth of information to all states. You will discover that we live in a stewpot with 50,000 laws and half of them will get you into trouble in certain places.
That's all I have for here.DougA and jammer910Z Thank this. -
I concur with every single word of that.
DILLY DILLY !!Paddlewagon Thanks this. -

If it is concealed no one but you would know...but since you've asked on a public forum it's a moot point

Must not go on many bases? Most if not all quit having lockers, or even letting you surrender to them on amy manner. I am on army, navy, airforce bases ALL the time. They don' want you to have one. And they won' accept responsibility for it from you. Leavenworth tells you to take it to the local of office, for safe keeping.

OP don't feel bad. I made the same thread when I first started here and got roasted.

No employer would say they allow it in writing. But some employer don't have a firearm policy. It's up to the driver to be responsible. Mostly smaller companies.jammer910Z, Paddlewagon and TravR1 Thank this.

I wouldn't ever carry one around on my person. But it does make sense to me to have one some where in the truck, even if it's locked in a gun safe. You'll never know when you end up getting attacked by wild Indians.
