I get that you're passionate and all. Tell you what - you get every politician, teacher, cop, dot, doctor and lawyer to be tested just as strictly and I'll be right there holding a sign outside the White House beside you.

i know, ain't that a crying shame. as far as i can see, the responsibilities of all those are nearly on the same level as us, yet they get away with sex with students, shooting unarmed people, DOT physicals being bought, courts being bribed, and ploiticians (i spelt that my way), plotting to bleed us dry of our monies.

Could it be that the person is not a fit human being? Blaming drugs that are easy to get and use on bad behavior is letting a mentally unstable off the hook and blames a drug on crazy actions, This guy should be finished with a drivers license for the rest of his life. game over, play like a idiot, watch from the sidelines from now on.. plus hard time in prison.. on a chain gang busting up rocks, but a person who needs to be removed from the free population.

Yes, not just a school bus but actually a special education bus. With some very good children inside with a bright future. Ive ridden a number of those crates in my time.

 

As a cold comfort the State of Arkansas has seriously cranked down on the drugging in the past 18 months at the State House passing laws that seriously make it difficult to get anything legally. Espeically for those with chronic conditions easily defended via evidence in the medical side.

There are large numbers of people who have been seperated from Pain Management through a variety of reasons, usually they did it to themselves. Then they turn to Heroin and other drugs illegally. Because it's way cheaper in the beginning.

CSpan has been running several new Senate Hearings recently to begin the process of causing the US Post Office to deliberately intercept mail from Overseas with Online purchasing of pain medicine followed by arrests of those who had bought them illegally online from the States without a scrip. I think Ohio had about 36 arrests so far and it's a beginning.

You could until as of last Tues order Fentenyal from China without any restrictions other than a certain amount of money and all of the States and Federal Govt has begun to interdict and intercept plus arrest and prosecute anyone trying to buy it online etc.

In fact until last week the suppliers have shown a preference of US Mail. That is going to get stopped as of last week. Permanently.

What is left is the necessary manpower to interdict Cartel Trafficking of drugs from the Border on our own highways. As Truckers in Arkansas we undergo training against human trafficking and it should not be a problem to step into defense against drug use.

These forums have had a number of threads where people think it is ok to have drugs and drive a 18 wheeler. It is NOT ok. I don't care if you live in a state where it's legal to buy pot for either rec use or medical use (In ArK, if you do this here with a Pot card you also must surrender all firearms and CHL licnese to the police who will then send it to a melt shop. You can have your medical pot or weapons, but not both...)

You cannot use drugs and drive a 18 wheeler. Period. Sadly I think there will be a growing number of drivers doing that sort of thing.

Unfortunately it's a new generation, not even alive when we endured the bad old times in the 60's and 70's with drug use common in our own family at that time among other things. Talk about contamination of growing babies with that fumes and burning of drugs as they used it. I had my first cig at 7 and other things. It's flat stupid back then. Still stupid now. Espeically when lives depend on being clear and sober in a 18 wheeler. I'll get off my soapbox now.

 

Are you saying you're special needs? And I'm pretty sure the vast majority of those who ride those busses are too far gone to contribute to society. Not those with physical handicaps, but the students who must be segregated from the normal population.
