As always, kind of a moot point - once people are dead.
The ones I check back up on are the likes of that douche bag that shot the mail driver in the DFW area last month. That's filth that needs eradication.

I really hate to hear of a fellow driver losing his/her life in a trucking accident. RIP driver.
That said, why would anyone blame the car driver for his death? We're taught to pay attention, look ahead and leave plenty of room to stop. So, unless this car was broke down around a blind curve or over a hill, he should have seen it in advance. -

Have you ever been passed by a truck and they move in front of you? There goes your forward view... now imagine Fed-Ex had a truck in front of him and that truck swerved at the last moment to avoid that car.... leaves little time to react.
Now sure we could slam on the brakes to regain our view every time we get passed but then we wouldn’t get much done.
It happens.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -

There's been no info stating that anything of that sort happened or didn't. It's possible. But does that put the blame on the driver of the car?
Ummmm... No.
