Sitting in Kingman, AZ. Trailer had a badly scalloped tire, and another that was low pressure.

Service tech started removing the nuts, and one of the studs came free from the hub. The nut is still attached. The stud cannot be drawn through the hole it is in.

They are currently trying to get the nut off the stud, and not having an easy time of it. I'm surprised they don't have a hydraulic nut-cracker on site for exactly this situation. Been about three hours now. Glad I haven't started my clock yet.

    That sucks!

Finished my day yesterday in Barstow with 1 minute left on my 14 when I was going on duty for my post trip.
Made my first stop in Oakland Monday morning and headed down to L.A., stopped 90 miles before the first drop as traffic in L.A. was beginning to mess up.
Delivered my two stops in L.A. in the morning and was empty 1 hour before my last appointment. :)
Had a reload planned for 2 PM and already was at the shipper at 9:15, but they couldn't load me till half an hour before my appointment. My clock was ticking but I had to scale the load and went to the TA in Ontario, traffic already sucked and when I was on the scale, they Weigh my Truck app didn't work
Had to park and go inside, lost valuable time. I hate that 14 hour window
Have only 45 minutes for today left on my 70 so I reset my hours till tomorrow.
Ran exactly 4011 miles in 7 days since last Wednesday morning, nobody can blame elogs for not making miles ;)

    Fruita CO.
Since I left Omaha last week Friday I had a leaking coolant tank, started to get worse on Sunday.
Wanted to make it back to the yard but with the weather forecast it doesn't look that I will be there on time before our shop or Volvo is closed for the weekend.
After talking to our shop manager we decided to stop in Fruita at the Volvo dealer. Was there a while ago when my water pump gave up. These guys were so great and I gave it a second try.
Arrived at 4:15 PM and was at the truck stop right beside the dealer 1 hour and 25 minutes later.
    These guys rock! :headbang:
In Omaha at Volvo you would wait a half day or more before they pull you in for an one hour job.

The weather forecast looks horrible, I think I will have to throw iron over Vail Pass early tomorrow morning :(

I run out my 11 at Cheyenne, WY earlier today, westbound for Logan, UT. SE Wyoming weather forecast is kind of up in the air. Have a 17:30 appt in Logan but will wait to see what kind of weather moves in overnight and if I should leave to arrive early or hold up a while and arrive at appt time. Winds are blowing hard over Sherman but supposed to reduce overnight. Presently is dry across SE WY. I may get lucky with this system and might be able to slip in through a relatively dry slot tomorrow.

On I-90 East, in Snoqualmie Pass, waiting for all 37 wrecks to clear.

Or however many wrecks there are. Every time I zoom ahead on Waze, I see more wrecks in different places.

    Ft. Morgan CO.
Made it over Vail Pass this morning without chaining :)
Delivered my load in Denver and went empty to Ft. Morgan, white knuckle driving of it's finest, wind gusts 50 mph forced me to slow down, the last ten miles I was creeping with 40 mph, trailer was running on shoulder
My load isn't ready yet, but doesn't matter, I-76, I- 70 and most other roads eastbound are closed due to blizzard conditions.
Grabbed a cold one at the small truck stop and made my dinner, tomorrow is another day and I will see if the roads are open again.

Had a fairly uneventful day running Cheyenne > Logan. A bit windy for most of the trip, but not too bad.

Sitting at the Pee-Lot in Limon CO, everything is shut down for snow/ice. And it's April 14th! Was supposed to get to Tyson in Holcomb KS yesterday.

Still sitting in Ft. Morgan, parts of I-76 and I-80 are still closed. Got my trailer meanwhile and waiting till the roads re-open. There's a load waiting on the yard for me for SoCal.
