Then there's always those who expect people coming out of school and training to know "everything". Even the things that cause confusion and disagreement among those who've been doing it 20+ years.
Then there's the fact some say "ask questions. No such thing as a dumb question". Then another follows that up by insulting the one who asked the question. It's no wonder many new drivers have such a hard time.

He's describing a 9 speed although he said "splitter" when he means "range". If it has both, he's got a 13 or 18 speed.
