Something new I saw.....

    While I was on the road this week, twice I saw a bobtail tractor towing a passenger vehicle behind it. Neither was a "not for hire" tractor, had DOT numbers and all.

    Anybody have any idea? I've seen RV driveaway do this, but never seen a bobtail tractor do it.

    It's a drive away. they have picked the tractor up from auction or dealer.

    A guy from our local Cummins dealer does this too in order to pick up trucks that are drive able but need to go to their shop.

    I used to transport trucks and pull my pick up behind me. One night a serious voice came across radio. "Bobtail that truck riding right your ###"

    There's one guy, who does this for a living ,he explains it in detail on youtube.
