I meant the trainer might cut him loose, not the company.

Being out for so long, a year with a company would look better on your record. Most companies these days require 24 months experience in the last three years.

Ok, so I'm unsure if Paschall (whom I'll be retraining with) does a hair test, but if I was prescribed Tylenol w/ hydrocodone through a local ER a few months back, would it show up (therefore requiring me to have documentation of it)?

In hair yes. But in urine no.

You have been off the stuff longer than 7 times 12 hours so you are good to go.

You do need to have something did show you were in the ER for whatever reason and they fixed it and prescribed something for you for a while.

Showing the evidence of a lawful prescription backed for a actual injury or medical reason for it is very good to have with you so that when the question does come up you will be fine.

Hydrocodone is one of the weakest of narcotics not even as strong as Morphine. However many people will still feel pain relief because they have no tolerance built up for it. So it works well for a few days to a week.

CDC requires ER doctors this year not to prescribe for more than 7 days at most and requires them to refer you to a formal pain clinic doctor for future pain refills if needed. CDC also discourages use of Demerol IV and IM because it's pretty addicitve and leads to liver failure in some cases in the ER setting.

There is a so called war on Opoids ongoing declared by the Government and as such the CDC, DEA and others has managed to create a situation in which no family doctor, no regular doctor hardly any dentists or walk in clinic doctors will dare prescribe any narcotics for pain. They just wont. Period.

ER doctors and trauma has the power to prescribe some but only when backed by clear medical need for that acute pain treatment such as broken bone for example.

I spent many years in trucking when sent to the ER myself I told the doctors no narcotics because I expect to drive later that day as soon they patch me up and kick me back to the truck and finish unloading etc. Ive gotten hurt working on the docks unloading a time or two and the docs are more than happy to subsitute other powerful medicine that is not a narcotic for the ow.

Hydrocodone with 325, 500 or whatever APAP is Pain medicine mixed with Tylenol. That's the APAP part of the dose. 5mg/325 apap for example.

You can take any pill on the market today and visit a drug lookup site and type in the identifying numbers and letters embedded in that pill whatever it is and it will get very close to the proper drug for what you have in front of you.

What you do NOT want is to have any loose pills in your car, on you in your pockets or similar when driving. ALL pain medicine MUST be in the original bottle given to you. And only you. Anyone else touching it commits a felony.

IF you have some left over and your ow has healed and no more need of it, you can visit your local police barracks which maintains a bin in which you can dump the whole medicine bottle and pills into. That's part of the drug take back program and it also prevents that bottle and label being dug up in the trash outside at the curb identifying you as a potential future source of illegal drugs or a future invasion robbery. I destroy all of my old bottles at the police station rather than throw them into the trash. That way it goes straight to the incinerator downtown and burned. No one will ever know from the trash that there is drugs in such a such a house.

It's a little bit involved this post. But it should help you alot because you especially do NOT want to have loose pills on you or in your truck or car. That's automatic arrest for suspection of Sales or DUI which you will be tested via blood draw to confirm. It also protects anyone else like your spouse too. They borrow the car to go to the store, get stopped and whoops there is a pill in the middle. They go to jail.

I think thats enough for the time being. Just bring the documentation even if it's just a date, time you went to ER, why you went and medicines you were given. It is not difficult at all for a MRO to examine your state's pharmacy database under your name and social and find out who prescribed it, how many for how long and when you filled it. There is no problem except for hair, it will be in your hair for a few months.

They will take hair from another part of your body...under arm, chest, legs, and even pubic hairs....that being said those hairs grow even slower than the hair on your head

Being completely shaven will be treated as a hot positive result.

The only possible defense is to be on a powerful chemo, radiation regime. I went ahead and shaved the hair off my spouse a few days after diagnosis to be sure it's all of of that head. then we found her a pretty nice cover so that she retain some dignity.

It is a problem for cancer patients to endure the hair loss. They lose ALL of the hair on their entire bodies and have suffered sometimes a very poor self image for a while. Most of the time when the chemo stops the body continues to make repairs and if it is fortunate it will grow a whole complete body wide set of air, which probably will not match what it grew prior due to deep DNA damage itself.

Im losing pretty good amounts of hair, however I have a personal policy never go to get it cut by anyone within any two year period so that generally the excessive hair loss does not really impact the overall view which isnt that great at my age. They say they can have products that restore pretty close to what I could be based on age appropriate color other than white. But I hae not tried it yet. Or have reason to.

I went there and had my CDL already. If you have not been to a refresher course in the previous 60 days, you will be brought in like a newbie without a license. Take a urine for drugs, some CBT's, and out to the training pad, then a trainer until you can pass the skills test, that is a PSD Student. Once you pass the skills test you will need to do TNT, which is basically running team for another 30k.

Look into Schneider. They pay refresher and only a three month contract. Depending on what you want to do you are on the road from 1-3 weeks.

    Schneider does a hair test.
But if it was prescribed to you by a doctor, tell them the truth, if you have the bottle with your name on it bring it with you to show them proof it’s yours, usually telling the company before hand, and the tester, who will make a note of it, you won’t have any problems
