    Oh I only do 10 hour breaks, maybe 7.5 is in the truck. Go for a walk, treadmill, shower, get up and walk to a restaurant for breakfast......

    However I only work 5 days, and usually more like 3/4 of a day on Saturday.

    ...only to be told we can't load you because your trailer is wet.

    Refers were great for hauling chemicals, but anything else I wouldn't want to do again.

    Honestly, that's part of it. I'm #####ing. Complaining to the forum is better than holding it in.

    The other part of it is providing examples of the real world problems and annoying scenarios that new drivers or people thinking about being new drivers can expect.

    If I can paint a real-world picture of a problem day for a new driver while helping myself de-stress so I don't lose my cool at a shipper, receiver, or with my manager, then I'm content.

    That sucks. If they didn't need the receipt there is a nice coin operated self-serve wash place in Dunmore. G&S Truck Wash, always washed my trucks there because I can do a much nicer job than the Streakin Beacon for less than $20 and about an hour of my time.
