That type of company speaks "Volume" to never even consider working there, yet alone pass one of their trucks on I 20
Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this. -
Did you report it? If not that’s a hit & run, a big no-no in this industry. At least 95% of companies will fire you for that and it would be a definite black mark on your record.bigkev1115 Thanks this.

Lol you should count your blessings.
Most companies drop you off at greyhound and say good luck.
Or just tell you can call a cab to greyhound. -
Yes, I called safety after I notified the owner of the van.
I had asked a car to be moved so I would have more room to turn around but got no help. I told my dispatcher this. I found out later he had told people I hit the "car" that wasn't moved, presumably because I was mad. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story .Anonymousproxy Thanks this. -
I spent many nights in the truck. You can imagine how much stuff I had.

Volume Transportation...there is a culture of racism. Both owners have been overhead making statements about blacks in a negative way. They have equipment that will get you put out of service and many many CSA points. They will withhold all your pay saying you owe them for this and that....terrible place to work
Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this. -
Actually they hire a lot of black drivers because they will work cheaper. They only pay .42 a mile. Their trick is to order shiny trucks with chrome wheels and leave them stripped. They look good going down the road. When I worked there the trailers were a complete POS and they only pay detention ($12) after two hours, so no one would ever take the time to get a tire fixed. Many a time I have picked one up from the drop lot that was flat. It's a cheap ### company run by a little yuppie that married the daughter of the boss, who is actually a nice guy (former trucker) but is rarely there now. They pay their local drivers in Atlanta $15 an hour and wonder why they don't produce. Sad company.
