I spoke with a recruiter who informed me that they required 2 years otr experience and started at 41cpm. If I’m not mistaken isn’t that pretty low for someone with over 2 years ?

It depends. If daily trips to the owner's office for a private meeting is included, then .41 cpm is a bargain and you should sign up IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, I'd take a pass.

I just had a carrier in a text tell me they have a new pay package that starts you off at .42 per mile. Hell I could drive 5.1 miles & get .46cpm from Heartless with 6mo experience. But as always with OTR you are a piece rate production worker so you have to find out how many miles you can squeeze into their E-logs, not just cpm. But .41cpm is laughable as a starting point with 2yrs unless your desperate & or homeless .

I guess it makes a difference how they figure your miles. 41 cpm on mover's guide, no. On practical miles...ehhh. On hub miles...maybe.

50 cpm is the new minimum wage from what I've seen lately.

I never looked twice at them because of the racial/gender boasting slogan on the trailers - feel the same way about bible verses and patriotic graphics. Irrelevant virtue-signaling is a big red commie flag IMHO.
