It’s called filling out a W2 when you start employment.;)(unless you went the 1099 route-good luck with that one) Any withholdings, exemptions, etc., will be documented. As will any wage garnishments (child support,alimony,etc.-again good luck with that one).

Yeah but after reading everything in this thread, the question remains... Should I work for Swift?

Free health insurance? They've never did that.

I did. If you do simply remember this....
All megas are basically the same (Except CRE and CRST). They all are a large bureaucracy that if one learns the rules they can do ok.
Of course if you can manage to get a job at a smaller place that pays better jump on that.

    Tolmie Thanks this.

Just for the record Swift pays 65 a week towards insurance and more if you do not smoke and do an optional physical.

So if you take the cheapest high deductible plan. The insurance could be "Free".

You don't fill out a W2 until you get there during orientation. And its illegal to ask people about their garnishments prior to that point.

So again... YOU already know what YOUR situation is. The company doesn't.

So they will tell you what THEY are paying out of their account.

You can figure out what your net is after you pay your elected officials, your ex-wife, your child support and any other garnishments.

I never said anything about employers asking employees about their garnishments. That is figured out by the court or state agency who enforced it.
And not all employers have an orientation. Some expect you ready to work right away.
