My previous employer will take me back it's just the hassle of going through orientation again. You are correct in everything you have stated. Thanks for the advice and well wishes.

Orientation is a small price to pay for happiness. Yes it’s a pain in the butt, but sometimes you just gotta go with the flow. Usually no more than 5 days, and you get paid for it. Don’t exhaust yourself swimming against the tide. Obviously Ruan is a Ruin for you.

was this back in the days of single source when they had the hon allsteel accounts? now they seem to have Publix grocery stores and more stuff than what they used to have..only thing I know is Lisa G. got her big award for transportation safety director of the year and then next thing you know she moves into more in the Des Moines office and they bring Allison M. in. but depending I've seen some high on guys it's still aren't too bad but I miss those days back in the 90s when old Bill was running the All steel on dispatch no matter who you are with single source or transport America or Jacobson..there are still a few other things go to dry my curiosity I noticed that their tanker division some are good and some ain't worth a ####. especially those clowns out of What I call Fair Oaks Indiana down there off of Highway 14 just south of Gary north of Rensselaer where they have some unbelievable turnover right there..but I've talked to a few Ruan dedicated people they seem to like it if you could still carve out a Nish but if you're more like an outsider you'll always feel like an outsider unfortunatelyLast edited by a moderator: Mar 17, 2019

it was a lot better in the 90s when big john run everything when the boy took it over it went down hill.

Would you care to elaborate on the problems at Fair Oaks? They were having lots of difficulties and turnover 5-6 years ago before I left Ruan. I remember talk about it then, and I was on a totally different account.

just High turnover they can't find quality people get a lot of garbage from Gary...she shall pay them coming out of that terminal running up and down 65 driving recklessly like a bunch of clowns. -
I know they run a boatload of ads on Craigslist for that account. Drivers and mechanics.

Huh, weird. I worked for them briefly in Pa on a flatbed steel account. Was making $25/hr to start with OT, worked 8-9 hour days, usually off by 230pm and was lucky if I drove 50 miles a day because the customer was so close as were any pickups. It was the cushiest gig ever. Sadly I moved three hours away so had to give it up. I'll never find that again, I am sure of that. I have nothing bad to say about them at all. Maybe I was the exception though.
Farva Thanks this. -
I believe the op is saying his career was ruaned.
I had a pair of my underpants get ruaned once. Boy, raccoons sure are crabby. -

Craigslist is scary when you search truck driving jobs anymore...pick all the areas for like Chicago truck driving jobs OTR bowling Green Kentucky jobs OTR you see all these European companies where you see these people driving like fools some of their ads are downright scary... what they say they offer and some aren't even put it in English at all. yeah for some reason I don't know what it is about that terminal maybe it's the proximity to Gary and Indianapolis I'm not really too sure Chicago for that matter they do always seem to run a turn over at that tanker terminal.. she lots of these ones here with ceva logistics and FedEx and a whole lot more especially out of Chicago when I look occasionally and it's like sure you call the person just out of the heck of it as some Foreigner says I don't give you a 1040 I give you a 1099 you work as a subcontractor I offered o insurance and it's like deal on the truck now it makes you wonder how they get away with a lot of this stuff... one of my most interesting discoveries honestly
