But then you'd have a bunch of free-range trailers rolling down the roads in Michigan just after those potholes....

If the pin sheared at a low enough stress level to prevent dragging the truck over with it, it would not stand a chance in a wreck and would be iffy as to whether or not it would survive a hard braking event.

I passed you somewhere yesterday. It was like a calm summer day headed north with that tailwind until I stopped for a bite to eat in Perry Oklahoma. I almost lost my door when I opened it. All good things must come to an end. Turned into a massive headwind in Omaha and it didn’t let up a bit until I got to Fargo this evening.

99.9% of pin loads are level. I'm just thinking if the trailer starts to roll that would be a different force. Might even save a drivers life if it didnt take him with it.

I stopped one time in Arkansas thinking I had a flat tire pulling my tri axle race car trailer. When I couldnt open the door I figured out the problem.

There is a new ad in classifieds of a TW200 engine and trans. Was going to poke fun at them and ask if they recently laid it over in Texas. Decided it was in poor respect to do so. So I didnt

He was a storm chaser. There are two grain elevators close together on that part of the loop..All of us who run through there regulary know the wind gets real tricky when its blowing, so did the storm chaser.

Ever heard the expression "23 skiddo"? In NY on 23rd Avenue the wind was always brisk. Men would hand around to see if it would blow up a woman's skirt. The cops would run them off and yell "skiddo".
