Covenant lied throughiut the recruiting process

I really appreciate the positive review I got from that movie reviewer duo; “Burt & Ernie”? I can’t remember for sure, but they sure were kind.

If you're choosing a potential employer based on their stated or implied beliefs, do yourself a favor and drive to their yard on any given Sunday morning. The trucks should all be in and the employee parking lot empty. True believers will get their drivers home for church with their families.

 

You failed to do your homework and took everything at face value.

 

Good to see they haven't changed since i was there 17 years ago.

For a starter mega, they aren't bad. Working for them, I don't have religion forced on me at all, other than the political statement on the back of the trailer. They pay is about equal to other starter megas. There are bonuses - safety, miles, school repayment. There are benefits - 401k , either IRA or Roth style, health insurance that's pretty good, and other insurance you can opt into. Theres a benevolence fund for drivers who need help. But on top of all that, I love my team. They care about me and I like them a lot When hubby got hurt, they went out of their way to help me run solo til he healed, and took good care of him. They are big on safety. They route us around bad weather spots when they can and always tell us to stop if we feel in danger. They do have some solo runs, but the pay isnt as good, for sure. But, for a starter mega, I think they're pretty #### good. I'm loving working for them, and my 2018 freightliner is in great condition.

 

Just like Chick-fil-a...They don't push religion on their employees, but believe they deserve a day for rest and reflection if they want it. And they stand by their values. After the Pulse nightclub shooting I remember hearing the local store opened that Sunday to feed first responders and blood donors for free.

 

Convenant aside, what is the problem with the idea of putting in 1.2 Million Miles with a single company?

Also, who is going to get all bent out of shape that a company wants to give you $1000 bonus every 60,000 Miles?

Furthermore - you get 1.2 Million miles with a single company and you finally hit that $20,000 bonus cap? My guess is you will be able to keep that bonus going if you ask.
