Yes this is true. Rm's have night vison camera and etc. It is A hassle to work for them. And I'm surprised one of the RM's haven't got bit by a snake or something.

 

Sorry you feel that way. I've been with Gemini for over six years, but haven't made quite as much as the dude you quoted, a couple $k short, but . It sounds like you have issues with your RM. You do get demmerge/wait, even hopping from rack to rack pay, you just never had it explained to you how to do it correctly. Ya, it may not be much but can add up. But I understand that drivers have different expectations. Me personally, am happy where I am. I make great pay in this region and have not had to put in for min pay for at least the last five years. RM is good and fair, and coworkers are a great bunch.

 

I don't want to derail the thread, but exactly what is "factoring". I've never been a O/O. I *assume* it's a fancy term that's similar to these check cashing outfits that prey on the live payday to payday types by charging a percentage to cash their paycheck?

 

Pretty much. It’s invoice financing, as in - quicker cash.

 

In a nutshell, they buy your receivables at a discount. Or maybe it's a loan against your receivables.

It's the business equivalent of a payday loan.
