.47 starting, 1 year experience. Plus if you get there early, but cannot deliver, $100 in the pocket. These people treat you really good, and you can even chat with the President and VP of the company, if you see them around. Apu, very pet friendly (just respect other people, if they dont care for dogs). O, 99.9 percent no touch freight. Also, o/o starting is $1.47

Only bad thing, if you see it that way, it can also be good too because it can cover ur own arse too, is driver facing cameras.

Does Tyson take new grads? How much experience do you need? What is their starting CPM?

One major plus to reefers according to my buddy, is you never have to worry about a place to crash for the night. Just pick most any large grocery store parking lot, to the side, or out back and it's assumed you're just waiting for am delivery. Google earth, and you can be parked in ten minutes most times.

48 cpm is the starting pay. Not sure on the new grads. When I started you had to have at least 18 months experience. Have changed the rules since then. Best to call recruiting and check. 8009336442.

You will find during the summer months work picks up as there is more demand for drinks and ice cream the great thing about a reefer though is you don't have to have a chilled load so you have many more options to get different loads. With dry van it can only be dry goods no temp sensitive freight at all.
