I don't know, but the other day I talked to a woman that said her husband drives for Christner as a lease/purchase driver does does really well, Said she doesn't have to work. They live in Henderson, Nevada and the homes aren't cheap. I don't know; the company has been around a long time. I've never had the desire to lease-purchase or own a truck, so can't speak from experience.

Do any guys that get into lease p ever consider what their cost per mile will be? I mean I think it would be awfully hard to run a truck under 1,15 a mile . But how do you even pay yourself if the load is 1.40 a mile .

    I can't get my cost to a $1.15 unless I include paying myself ...

I'm only a wee little company driver but here's a little general common sense. Lease on for a 1.00 per mile. Ok most are gonna be on eld. Let's say your lucky enough to maintain 3000 miles a week then base pay 3000 bucks revenue to truck. Not sure what fuel surcharge would add to that total but for anyone who would consider 3k revenue a week anywhere close to payin to run a truck bein good money has fell an seriously bumped their melon. Must be a nice pot of gold at the end of that rainbow for incentive to make it worth starving to complete that lease fleece.

My thoughts are anyone that sign up for any kind of lease thinking they have to run 3000 miles a week to stay in the black, has already gone broke. A guy might as well throw any up front money out the window and go get a job and save a whole bunch of heartache. lol
